The simulation above shows a ball being kicked into the air and the resulting projectile motion.
To start the simulation, first click the init button (which will show the graphics) and then click the start button. You can stop the animation and/or step through one frame at a time. The elapsed time for the animation is shown in the upper left corner. To refresh the screen, click init.
The buttons on the bottom toggle different visual aids. Clicking ghosts turns on or off pictures of the ball which are left at 1 second intervals. Clicking x Projection will show the projection of the motion along the x-axis. Clicking y Projection will show the projection of the motion along the y-axis. Lastly, Velocity Vectors will toggle the display of vectors representing the velocity vector and its x and y components.
